This page contains pictures of the Surf City Splash House,
Lil' Barefoot Beach and Kiddie Cove areas of the Kings
Dominion water park. These are the areas that younger kids can
enjoy.
The Surf City Splash House is a multi-level water playground.
Kids can climb on rope nets and stairs. There are
plenty
of interactive water stations where kids can get wet.
The highlight of Surf City is the giant bucket of water
that sits atop the Splash House. A large pipe continuously fills
the bucket. Once full, the bucket tips. Hundreds of
gallons of water rush down the roof. Crowds below are drenched
in the powerful
blast.

play area caters to younger children. It's fairly easy for
parents to monitor their kids in this area. Kings Dominion has
set up several large umbrellas for shade (seen in the far right of the
picture).
